About Me:
Actor, writer, director, and documentary filmmaker. Started on Broadway as a child actor before studying film at NYU. Best known to many people as Bill S. Preston, Esq. in the Bill & Ted films, but most of my work behind the camera has focused on technology, culture, music, media, and the systems that shape how people live. My films include Downloaded, Deep Web, The Panama Papers, Trust Machine, Showbiz Kids, Zappa, and The YouTube Effect. I also co-directed and starred in Freaked and later wrote and directed Fever.
Who I’d Like to Meet:
Filmmakers, journalists, musicians, technologists, archivists, writers, and people working at the intersection of culture and systems.
